The Cold Steel Warrior Series Nodachi is a full-size Japanese field sword (34" blade, 57" overall) from the same Warrior line as Cold Steel's katanas and wakizashi. It shares the same 1060 carbon steel, heat treatment, and sharpness as the Emperor Series, with a practical finish suited to training and Tameshigiri (cutting practice) without worrying about the blade.
The long handle (23") is wrapped in samé (ray skin), black braid cord, and brass menuki; the blade is 5/16" thick for strength. Includes black lacquered wood scabbard. The nodachi was historically used on the battlefield; Cold Steel's version is built for serious practitioners and collectors. Made in China.
