The Cold Steel O Tanto (Warrior Series) is a Japanese short sword (13.25" blade) with the same 1060 carbon steel and heat treatment as the Warrior katanas. The tanto form was used for utility and close work; this model has a bo-hi (fuller) for balance and speed. Samé (ray skin) handle with black braid cord and brass fittings; black lacquered wood scabbard.
Ideal as a companion to a katana or for solo practice and display. Practical finish—no mirror polish—so you can train and cut without concern for tarnishing. Made in China.
