The Cold Steel Wakizashi (Warrior Series) is the companion to the Warrior Katana: a shorter Japanese sword (21" blade) with the same 1060 steel, heat treatment, and practical finish. Wakizashi were traditionally worn together with the katana by samurai; today they are used for training, paired forms, and cutting practice where a shorter blade is preferred.
Samé (ray skin) handle with black braid cord and brass menuki; black lacquered wood scabbard. Same battle-ready construction as the Warrior Katana, in a compact format. Made in China.
