Cold Steel Ribbed Shell Hilt Rapier Sword [CS-88CHR]

The Cold Steel Ribbed Shell Hilt Rapier is a Dave Baker–designed reproduction of the classic European rapier. Rapiers dominated civilian outdoor use and dueling from the late 14th through the 16th century (and later in Spain). This version features a long, slim 41.5" blade—fully sharpened, with a single wide fuller for balance—and a complex hilt with ribbed shell, quillions, knuckle bow, and multiple bars for hand protection.

The grip is wood with black ray skin and decorative wire; the heavy ribbed pommel counterbalances the blade. Supplied with a leather scabbard with steel fittings. Made in China. Ideal for historical fencing, display, or cutting practice.
