Cold Steel Colichemarde Sword [CS-88CLMS]

The Cold Steel Colichemarde is a modern interpretation of the historical sword that emerged in the late 1600s during the transition from rapiers to small swords. Designed with Dave Baker, it has the Colichemarde's signature blade: wide at the forte (base) for strong parries, then tapering sharply to an acute point for fast, precise thrusting. That shape allowed period fencers to parry heavy weapons without breaking the blade while staying quick in the hand.

1055 high-carbon steel, sharp; the hilt has a decorative double shell guard with finger loops and knuckle bow, wire-wrapped grip, and matching pommel. Includes a leather scabbard with steel fittings. A companion dagger (88CLMD) is available separately.
