The AD-15 58SQBKBK is the black-blade, black-handle version of Andrew Demko's Scorpion Lock folder. Its CPM S35VN blade opens manually with thumb studs and runs on a washer pivot. The handle uses G-10 scales, with a reversible clip for tip-up carry on either side.
The Scorpion Lock is the model's defining feature. A lever along the spine engages the blade tang; pulling it back releases the blade for closing. This arrangement differs from the Tri-Ad mechanism used by many other Cold Steel folders. The S35VN and G-10 configuration also distinguishes this AD-15 from the separate, more economical AD-15 Lite.
