The Cold Steel Gold Lion Katana brings traditional Japanese katana craftsmanship to a battle-ready format. Forged from Damascus steel with a high-polish finish, this sword features a 30" blade with authentic Hamaguri grind, peaked Iori Mune spine, and clay-tempered Hamon line. The handle is wrapped in black rayskin (samé) with black braided cord and brass Menuki displaying the Japanese Shisa (lion-dog) motif—a symbol of protection.

Cold Steel's Gold Lion series is built for collectors and practitioners who want the look and performance of a high-end katana with the distinctive pattern and edge-holding of Damascus.
