Spyderco Edgerati Black Aluminum (3.57" Black DLC S30V) Folding Knife [C266BKALBKP]

The Spyderco Edgerati [C266BKALBKP], designed by Sal Glesser and made in the USA, combines an open geometric aluminum handle with a full-flat-ground CPM S30V blade. This is the all-black PlainEdge version: a smooth cutting edge, black DLC blade coating, black anodized scales and matching dark hardware.

Geometric Aluminum Construction

The pierced handle draws its inspiration from the frame of the “birdcage” Maserati. Its scales are machined from solid aircraft-grade aluminum and hardcoat anodized. The openings reduce the enclosed surface of the handle and reveal the knife’s internal lock construction, giving the Edgerati a distinctive mechanical appearance.

S30V Blade and Controlled Grip

The straight-spined blade uses CPM S30V particle metallurgy stainless steel, paired with a full-flat grind for a versatile cutting edge. Its black Diamond-Like Carbon coating complements the black handle. A textured index-finger choil allows a forward grip when precise control matters.

Compression Lock and Reversible Clip

The streamlined Compression Lock uses a stainless steel lock bar nested into a machined pocket in one handle scale. The fully accessible round opening hole supports manual deployment with either hand. A broad-based pocket clip can be reversed for left- or right-side tip-up carry. This C266BKALBKP configuration is the plain-edge black model; it is distinct from the satin-bladed and fully serrated Edgerati versions.
