The Para Military 2 Lightweight Salt combines the PM2 cutting platform with a bright yellow FRN handle and a satin CPM MagnaCut blade. This PlainEdge version belongs to Spyderco’s Salt series, with corrosion-resistant handle components and hardware.

Lightweight Salt Construction

Spyderco describes the lightweight format as more than 25 percent lighter than the G10-handled counterpart. Its injection-molded FRN scales use Bi-Directional Texture, while the revised construction reduces the number of metal components.

Blade, Lock and Carry

The full-flat-ground MagnaCut blade is designed around a balance of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance. A streamlined Compression Lock secures it in use. The reversible deep-pocket wire clip supports left- or right-side tip-up carry, and a generously sized lanyard hole provides an additional attachment point. The yellow handle improves visibility around water.
