The Assist is a folding rescue tool with a blunt-tipped, black TiCN-coated VG-10 stainless blade. Its CombinationEdge uses both a plain section and serrations for cutting belts, cord and other fibrous material. An enlarged Round Hole and Cobra Hood provide a defined opening interface and thumb support.

The black FRN handle combines a molded grip texture with finger grooves, a built-in whistle and a retractable carbide glass breaker. Squeezing the blade farther into the closed handle extends the breaker from the butt. A back lock secures the open blade, and a reversible wire clip supports tip-up carry.
