Every year, TOPS employees get involved in the design aspect of knives through the TOPS Employee Design Challenge. This challenge has gone on for several years now and each year, TOPS has had a new winner. From the Dicer 8 to the Grandpa’s Ax, to the dive knives, and now to the Ivie, some great designs have come from this challenge/tradition. He is a BJJ enthusiast, and lover of knives. While this gives him a leg up on some in terms of knife knowledge, that doesn’t always apply to design.

This Knife Blade: Wharncliffe blade with a Tungsten Cerakote finish made from 1095 steel. Handle: Black canvas micarta handle. Carry: Tough Kydex sheath with firm retention.
