The Master Tanto 13PBN is the CPM 3V edition of Cold Steel's established tanto fixed blade. It uses a six-inch blade with a satin finish, rather than the different steels or finishes available elsewhere in the Master Tanto family. The angular tanto profile and plain cutting edge give this version its recognizable shape.

Its black Kray-Ex grip has a flattened oval shape intended to resist rotation in the hand. A guard and tapered steel pommel frame the handle. The included Secure-Ex sheath has a nylon belt loop for carrying the knife. At 11.5 inches overall and approximately 9.5 ounces, this is the standard Master Tanto size in the 3V series.
