The compact fixed-blade construction keeps the proportions considerably smaller than Cold Steel's full-sized tanto knives, while preserving a full tang through the handle.
The molded handle texture recalls traditional Japanese cord wrapping, and a stainless-steel guard sits between the grip and blade. The supplied Secure-Ex sheath covers the blade and can accommodate a bead-chain lanyard. This olive-drab green, satin-finished version has a blade of approximately 3.38 inches and an overall length of 6.75 inches; its color and finish distinguish it from the other Kyoto configurations.
