This Kyoto II combines a 3.38-inch 8Cr13MoV stainless steel drop-point blade with a black finish. The full-tang construction is paired with a olive drab green Kray-Ex handle, whose raised pattern recalls traditional Japanese handle wrapping.

A steel guard separates the compact grip from the plain cutting edge, and a lanyard opening is provided at the rear. The knife measures 6.75 inches overall and includes a molded Secure-Ex sheath. The drop-point blade identifies the Kyoto II, distinct from the tanto-bladed Kyoto I.
