The Drop Forged Wasp has a double-edged 6.75-inch blade made from drop-forged 52100 high-carbon steel. Blade, guard and tang form one continuous steel body, rather than separate pieces assembled at the handle. Replaceable black handle scales are fitted to the steel body, while the guard remains part of the forging.

A molded Secure-Ex sheath covers both cutting edges for storage and carry. The knife measures 12.25 inches overall. Its double-edge layout and forged construction distinguish it from the single-edge Hunter and Survivalist models in the same range. The exact manufacturer code and UPC identify this configuration.
