The True Flight Thrower uses a twelve-inch 1055 carbon steel body with a black protective finish. Its sharpened utility blade gives it a working cutting edge in addition to its throwing-knife profile.

Olive drab cord wrapping covers the handle area, providing a distinct grip surface over the steel. A black Cor-Ex nylon belt sheath is included for carry and storage. The wrapped handle distinguishes the True Flight from Cold Steel’s unwrapped Flight Sport throwing knives.
