The Chieftan's Sax combines a long 1055 carbon steel blade with a Malaysian Sal wood handle. Its clipped blade profile and traditional metal fittings recall the historical seax pattern. The 13.875-inch blade has a satin finish and a plain sharpened edge.
A steel guard and pommel complete the wooden grip, and the knife measures 19.5 inches overall. A black leather scabbard is included. The Chieftan's configuration is larger than the Woodsman's Sax, with a different handle and hilt arrangement.
