The Sharkie is a permanent marker built around a thick-walled, glass-reinforced Grivory body. It is a writing instrument with a rugged outer shell, rather than a fixed-blade knife.
A screw-on cap stays attached more securely than a conventional push-fit marker cap, while the pocket clip provides a convenient way to carry it in a shirt pocket or bag. This original 91SP Sharkie measures 6.25 inches and weighs 1.9 ounces; it is distinct from the later 91SPB Pocket Shark.
