The FGX Tai Pan reproduces the long dagger format in Cold Steel’s nonsteel Nightshade construction. Its 7.5-inch Griv-Ex composite blade is paired with a 5.5-inch grip area for a 13-inch overall length, making this one of the larger FGX designs.
The Kray-Ex grip provides a textured surface, while the composite blade resists moisture and eliminates steel-blade rust maintenance. The knife weighs 3.7 ounces. Its dagger profile and pointed blade are functional design features; this is not a blunt rubber training version of the Tai Pan.
