Russ Kommer’s Alaskan Hunter

Russ Kommer designed the Alaskan Hunter around the needs of hunting and field work. Fox identifies the large finger opening as a defining feature, intended to give the handle a particularly secure, clearly indexed shape in difficult outdoor conditions.

The blade profile is conceived for game preparation, while the ring and shaped grip distinguish it from a conventional straight-handled hunting knife.

This edition

This Russ Kommer Alaska Fixed Blade Knife configuration has a 3.63" blade made from Becut steel. Its Coated finish is paired with black finger grooved G10 handle construction. Overall length is 9" (22.86cm).

Construction and carry

A black leather belt sheath is included. The handle also has a lanyard opening.
