The compact Sputnik 5 in the Mars Collection
The Sputnik 5 is part of Fox’s Mars Collection of fixed-blade knives. The family uses shaped synthetic grips, substantial guards and dedicated sheaths, giving the models a recognizable professional-tool character.
The different Sputnik numbers denote distinct blade configurations rather than interchangeable names. Equipment supplied with another Mars model should not be assumed to be included.
This edition
This Mars Sputnik 5 Fixed Blade Knife configuration has a 5.25" blade made from Bohler N690 stainless. Its black Cerakote finish is paired with black Forprene handle construction. Overall length is 10.25" (26.04cm).
Construction and carry
A sheath also has removable leg straps is included.
