Fox Eastwood Tiger Carbon Fiber Fixed Blade Knife [FOX106TICF]
From Oosterhout to the Eastwood Tiger
Gudy Van Poppel named the Eastwood Tiger after Oosterhout, his hometown, whose name he renders in English as Eastwood. His stated aim was a very robust working knife with an old-school appearance, combining traditional visual cues with a contemporary construction.
The fixed-blade Eastwood Tiger followed the folding line that Fox dates to 2021. It keeps the family’s broad, purposeful profile while replacing the folding joint with a continuous fixed blade. The shaped grip and modest guard are especially important to this version’s outline.
