A rescue knife developed around firefighters’ needs
Fox describes the project behind the Supersum as a fixed blade developed around the requirements of firefighters. Its partially serrated cutting edge, dedicated belt-and-cord cutter and glass-breaker end explain the distinctly task-driven shape.
The handle and protective sheath are central to that purpose: this is a tool intended to be carried with working equipment, with cutting functions distributed between the main blade and a separate cutter.
This edition
This Supersum Rescue Knife configuration has a 5.25" blade made from Bohler N690 stainless. The grip uses desert tan Forprene. Overall length is 10.88" (27.64cm).
Construction and carry
A black Kydex MOLLE compatible belt sheath is included.
