The Predator reinterpreted for everyday carry

The GABI EDC grew out of Fox’s Predator family. Fox describes the change as a move from a substantial professional folding knife toward a slimmer, more compact and discreet everyday-carry design, while keeping the visual identity of its predecessor.

The Crossbar Lock is central to that new direction. The narrow blade and relatively flat grip preserve the Predator’s recognizable lines in a more pocket-oriented format. G10, carbon-fiber and titanium editions give the same design distinctly different textures, finishes and visual character.

This edition

This GABI Crossbar Lock Titanium Folding Knife configuration has a 3.13" blade made from Niolox tool steel. Its satin finish is paired with gray sand blast finish titanium handle construction. Closed length is 4.25" (10.8cm).

Construction and carry

The mechanism is Crossbar Lock. A pocket clip provides the carrying attachment. The handle also has a lanyard opening.
