The 2019 Radius breakthrough

Denis Simonutti’s Radius was introduced at Blade Show in Atlanta in 2019. Fox records that it received both Imported Knife of the Year and Overall Knife of the Year, with the patented locking mechanism at the center of the design’s recognition.

The circular button assembly is a visible part of the knife’s identity. It organizes the opening and closing movement around a rounded pivot housing, giving the handle an immediately recognizable profile. Different Radius editions use different steels and handle materials, but the mechanism is the common design idea.

This edition

This Radius Lock Folding Knife configuration has a 3.00" blade made from Bohler M390 stainless. Its Finish finish is paired with black and silver titanium handle construction. Closed length is 4.25" (10.8cm).

Construction and carry

The mechanism is Radius Lock. A pocket clip provides the carrying attachment.
