Fox presents the Libar as a gentleman’s slip joint, using a clean blade-and-handle outline to suit ordinary daily cutting tasks. It favors a compact, unembellished form over a visually exposed lock or a strongly sculpted tactical frame.

The carbon-fiber version gives that traditional idea a distinctly modern surface. Its non-locking action remains part of the design, so the material upgrade should not be confused with a different locking mechanism.

This Libar Slip Joint Carbon Fiber Folding Knife configuration has a 2.88" blade made from Bohler M390 stainless. Its Satin finish is paired with carbon fiber handle construction. Closed length is 3.25" (8.26cm).

The mechanism is Slip joint (non-locking). The handle also has a lanyard opening.
