Fox Dart Karambit Trainer [FOX597TK]
The training counterpart to the Marcaida–Mandiola Dart
Doug Marcaida and Lad Mandiola co-designed the Dart Tanto with Fox in Italy. The ring-handled pattern draws on the karambit tradition of Southeast Asia, while the Dart gives that idea its own blade and handle proportions.
This is the dedicated training version. Its purpose is handling practice, not cutting, and its blade should not be represented as the sharpened Dart model. The distinctive ring, grip and clip preserve the recognizable format while clearly separating the trainer from a working cutting tool.
This edition
This Dart Karambit Trainer configuration has a 2.50" blade made from 420C stainless. Its bead blast finish is paired with orange G10 handle construction. This is the non-cutting trainer configuration.
Construction and carry
A pocket clip provides the carrying attachment.
