The Igorot design reference behind the Tribal K
Doug Marcaida explains that the Tribal K was inspired by a karambit designed by his friend Daniel Mumbakki Foronda. Fox’s account connects Foronda’s Igorot heritage in the northern Philippines with the boar-tooth shapes that informed the blade and the triangular motifs carried into the handle.
That documented design story explains why the Tribal K looks different from Fox’s more conventional curved-blade karambits.

This Tribal K Karambit Liner Lock OD Folding Knife configuration has a 3.00" blade made from Bohler N690 stainless. Its black PVD coated finish is paired with oD green G10 handle construction. Closed length is 4.5" (11.43cm).
