Avispa means wasp in Spanish. Developed through Randall’s Adventure & Training’s collaboration with Blue Ridge Knives, it pairs a full-size working blade with a slim frame-lock layout. One side of the handle supplies the grip surface; the steel reverse forms the blade’s locking bar.

This D2 edition adds a carbon-fiber layer over G10 on the front scale, paired with a stonewashed stainless frame on the reverse. Its stonewashed drop-point blade and visible frame-lock construction give the two sides distinct appearances without adding a separate locking mechanism inside the handle.

D2 is a tool steel rather than a fully stainless alloy. Wipe the blade dry after use and keep a light protective film on exposed steel, including the edge.

This is a BRK-manufactured collaboration design. ESEE identifies Blue Ridge Knives as the manufacturer and warranty provider for the Avispa and Zancudo folders.
