Avispa means wasp in Spanish. Developed through Randall’s Adventure & Training’s collaboration with Blue Ridge Knives, it pairs a full-size working blade with a slim frame-lock layout. One side of the handle supplies the grip surface; the steel reverse forms the blade’s locking bar.

The desert tan glass-reinforced nylon front scale contrasts with the black EDP-coated D2 blade and black stainless frame. Thumb-stud opening and an exposed frame-lock bar keep the operating layout simple; the clip and lanyard hole support everyday carry.

D2 is a tool steel rather than a fully stainless alloy. Wipe the blade dry after use and keep a light protective film on exposed steel, including the edge.

This is a BRK-manufactured collaboration design. ESEE identifies Blue Ridge Knives as the manufacturer and warranty provider for the Avispa and Zancudo folders.
