Avispa means wasp in Spanish. Developed through Randall’s Adventure & Training’s collaboration with Blue Ridge Knives, it pairs a full-size working blade with a slim frame-lock layout. One side of the handle supplies the grip surface; the steel reverse forms the blade’s locking bar.

The BRK1303 version uses SK5 carbon steel with a stonewashed finish, a textured black polymer front scale and a stonewashed stainless frame. Its blade is carbon steel, so drying it after use and applying a light protective oil are part of routine care, especially around the exposed cutting edge.

This is a BRK-manufactured collaboration design. ESEE identifies Blue Ridge Knives as the manufacturer and warranty provider for the Avispa and Zancudo folders.
