Lynn C. Thompson’s Safe Maker I uses a 4.5-inch double-edged AUS-8A stainless steel blade with a stonewashed finish. The blade, shaft and T-shaped tang are formed from one steel piece, creating the push-knife layout of the Safe Maker series.
A textured black Kray-Ex handle surrounds the tang and part of the shaft, providing a crosswise grip. A molded Secure-Ex sheath is included for boot or belt carry. The Safe Maker I measures 6.5 inches overall, providing the larger blade configuration in the series.
