This Tai Pan pairs Cold Steel's broad dagger profile with a 7.5-inch CPM 3V blade. The satin-finished steel is selected for toughness and wear resistance, while a flat grind defines the blade geometry. This is the 13P version, distinct from other Tai Pan editions that use different blade steels.

The textured black Kray-Ex handle has an oval cross-section and a steel pommel. A Secure-Ex sheath is included for belt carry and covers the fixed blade when stored. The Tai Pan measures 13 inches overall and weighs approximately 10.8 ounces. Its double-edged dagger configuration is central to this model's construction and should be considered when choosing it.
