The Kobun 17TS gives Cold Steel's lightweight tanto boot knife a serrated cutting edge. Its 5.5-inch AUS-8A blade has a satin finish and the reinforced angular point familiar from the Kobun range. The thinner blade distinguishes this model from the heavier Master Tanto that inspired its outline.

The black textured handle is deliberately slim, with a contoured cross-section designed to reduce rotation in the hand. The blade spine retains substantial thickness toward the point. A Secure-Ex sheath is included. This version measures approximately 9.875 inches overall and weighs 4.4 ounces; choose 17TS specifically for its serrated edge.
