The Roach Belly follows the upswept blade outline of a utility knife popular in seventeenth-century Britain and the American colonies. Cold Steel’s interpretation uses a 4.5-inch German 4116 stainless steel blade with a satin finish and a hollow grind.
A black polypropylene handle replaces the wood grip associated with historical examples, retaining a straightforward shape and adding a lanyard opening. The knife measures 8.5 inches overall, and a black nylon belt sheath is included. Its curved cutting belly and narrow point provide the distinctive working profile of this traditional pattern.
