The Marauder takes its name from Merrill’s Marauders and draws on the large Bowie-style knives associated with the Second World War. This version uses a nine-inch AUS-8A blade with a stonewashed finish, a clip-point profile and a plain cutting edge.

A black Kray-Ex handle provides a textured, rubberized grip behind the blade guard. Cold Steel includes a Secure-Ex sheath for attaching the knife to a belt or equipment and covering the blade during storage. The knife measures 14.125 inches overall. Its edge configuration is an important distinction: the plain-edge and serrated Marauders share the same general platform but provide different cutting surfaces.
