The Steel Tiger is a modern karambit developed by Lynn C. Thompson and Steven Likarich. This configuration has a deeply curved 4.75-inch AUS-8A stainless blade with a black finish and a plain cutting edge. Its black handle identifies this version within the Steel Tiger range.
A rigid Griv-Ex core surrounds the tang and forms the bolster, thumb shelf and finger ring. Kray-Ex is molded over the core to add a rubberized gripping surface. Cold Steel supplies a Secure-Ex sheath with a removable boot/belt clip for carrying and storage. The layered handle construction and curved blade are central features of this design.
