The Black Fly is a compact eight-inch throwing knife made from one piece of carbon spring steel. Its narrow profile and thin construction distinguish it from Cold Steel's heavier throwing knives. A black protective finish covers the steel body.
The blade tapers to a fine point, while an opening at the end of the handle accepts a lanyard. There are no separate handle scales. Its overall length and simple construction make it one of the smaller models in the range. A sheath is not included.
