The Woodsman's Sax adapts the historical seax profile into a large fixed blade with an eleven-inch 1055 high-carbon steel blade. Its long cutting edge and sloping point give it a different outline from a Bowie or conventional drop-point knife. A smooth hardwood handle completes the design.
The six-inch grip gives the Woodsman's Sax an overall length of seventeen inches. The blade is sharpened and has a satin finish. A brown leather sheath with belt loops is included. This is the shorter Woodsman configuration, distinct from the larger Chieftan's Sax and Damascus Long Sax.
