The Long Sax pairs a 17.25-inch Damascus steel blade with a rosewood handle and brass fittings. The visible pattern of the steel distinguishes this version from the plain carbon steel Woodsman's and Chieftan's Sax models. Its long clip-point blade has a sharpened plain cutting edge.
A brass guard and pommel finish the wooden handle, giving the knife an overall length of 23.75 inches. A black leather scabbard is included to cover the blade. The Long Sax is the substantial Damascus configuration in this group of historical fixed blades.
