The Apex was designed by Petr Janda, a longtime KA-BAR designer previously known for his FIN line of knives. Janda designed the Apex to be a slim, robust fixed blade capable of working in tight corners and confined space. The Apex is made with D2 steel and comes with a hard plastic sheath.
