The Ontario TAK 2 combines a black-coated 1075 high-carbon steel blade with honey-coloured wood scales. Its fixed blade and full, extended tang give it a simple field-knife construction. The larger overall length separates it from the smaller RAT 3, and a black leather belt sheath is included.
The blade material is 1075HC steel. The handle configuration is Honey wood.
The steel tang extends through and beyond the handle. A rear lanyard hole provides a cord attachment point.
