Eric Glesser designed the Charisma around a simple carry goal: a useful cutting tool slim and light enough to stay in the pocket every day. Its linerless gray FRN handle and exceptionally thin, full-flat-ground blade bring the knife’s weight down to just 0.8 ounce. Spyderco makes it at its headquarters in Golden, Colorado.

The blade uses Carpenter’s nitrogen-enriched CTS BD1N stainless steel. Longitudinal grooves and a pebbled handle texture provide grip without metal liners, while the back lock includes a Boye Dent relief in its release. A reversible wire clip provides deep, tip-up carry on either side. This C259PGY is the plain-edge gray version.
