The Frog Market Special XL was designed by Steven Dick based on a style of knife that he saw during a trip to Vietnam. He saw butchers and fishmongers using knives with a pattern he'd never seen before. They were able to prepare meats and fish of many varieties easily using their unique blades. The first design based on those knives is the original Frog Market Special. This XL version adds some heft and length to an already proven excellent design.

This Knife Blade: Standard blade with a Tungsten Cerakote finish made from 1095 steel. Handle: Green canvas micarta handle. TOPS Frog Market Special XL The Frog Market Special XL from TOPS Knives was designed after a unique style of knife used by butchers and fish mongers in Vietnam. This XL version adds a bit of weight and a lot of blade to an already proven design. Great in the kitchen, camp kit, or if you're really adventurous-as an EDC fixed blade.
